Svensk Hemleverans (Swedish Home Delivery)

Since our main mission is to deliver the morning newspaper, we have a strong distribution network. To make the most of each delivery, we also bring letters and parcels with us at the same time—since we are already there at the mailbox. We have approximately 1,700 employees who make it possible for us to visit almost every address within our delivery areas year-round in Östergötland, northern Småland, Uppland, Gotland, Södermanland, Norrbotten, and northern Västerbotten.

Our Vision

Our vision is to offer you the market’s most sustainable and efficient delivery service, with delivery time windows available 24/7.

Our Core Values

Our shared core values are a mindset that should permeate our work. All of our employees, regardless of role, have a responsibility to keep our values alive.

We are responsive, goal-oriented, and curious—and therefore quick to embrace change.

We have a positive spirit, and we are forgiving, tolerant, and inclusive.

Our Vehicles

  • In 2024, SVHL invested in 220 new electric cars.

  • 50% of the fleet is currently emissions-free (electric cars + electric mopeds).

  • We have approximately 800 vehicles, of which 40% are fully electric and 20% are hybrids.

  • The remaining vehicles run on fossil fuels due to our need for range and the current lack of sufficient charging infrastructure.

  • We will continue the work of transitioning our vehicles to electric power in order to reach our goal of having a completely fossil-free fleet by 2030.
